Foundations in Yoga

6 Weeks: 5.30 - 6.50 (80 min Class)
Commencing: Wednesdays February 7th

Commencing: Tuesday March 6th

If you are new to yoga or just want to refresh your practice then this is the class for you. Foundational level classes focus on the core series of yoga poses, postural alignment and applied breathing techniques. Each class will provide an opportunity in a safe and welcoming environment for individuals to tune into their bodies and develop a greater understanding of how best to move, breathe and stay present: become fluent in the language your body speaks!
Foundations in Yoga covers correct alignment of basic yoga postures (asanas) with use of special yoga props, breathing techniques (pranayama), and guided relaxation.

REGISTER HERE for Tuesdays March 6 - April 10:  5.25-6.55 with Saya
Class will begin with guided relaxation allowing for latecomers and a little time to unwind on your mat in the peaceful surrounds of the studio prior to commencing the physical postures and instruction at 5.35. 

At the completion of either Weds or Tuesday course you may choose to continue on in this class or move on to a Level 1 class to further deepen your practice, building on the many physical and mental benefits including improved general well-being, vitality, strength, flexibility and mental clarity.
Full Course Fee: $120 - 6 consecutive classes. Each class is 80 mins.
Please note: The special rate is valid for the duration of this 6-week course only and cannot be extended to other classes at BHYS . Payment is non refundable after course commencement date.
Special Offer: Upon completion of either course, continue to deepen your practice in the Wednesday or Tuesday 5.25 class at a discounted rate.
